The wee inside! |
At the end of the end, I must remind myself that I make miniatures as a lovely pastime, and not to get too caught up in whether they sell or not. I hope this post finds all my lovely blogging friends well. We have had no snow here yet, which is rather unusual. There is snow in the forecast for Sunday though.
Signing off with many hugs,
Ruth
Ruth,
ReplyDeleteI love this nursery! Yellow is one of my favorite colors and it's just darling.
Enjoy your weekend,
Lisa
Thanks Lisa! I love your blog :) I was looking at Jazzi's last linky party and spotted your entry. Enjoy your weekend too!

Your room is very cute! Just a suggestion maybe add just a few more things and make it like the nursery I had when I had little ones.
ReplyDeleteThere was lots of baby stuff all around including a changing table, diapers, bottles you name it! :-)
Thanks grandmommy! I do have a change table which I will consider adding...

Hi Ruth, I love all of your cute mini accessories. That baby blanket and the Peter Rabbit themed things are darling too. xo Jennifer

That is very cute!! I really need to get into minis!
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Brini! Minis are so addictive...but they are only as expensive as you let them be! I find it fun to make as much as I can myself

Hi Ruth! I am so glad that you are back in blogland! I have missed you, my dear. Your little nursery is charming and the accessories you have chosen are really lovely! Sometimes an item doesn't sell because it is waiting for that one special person who will cherish it as much as you do. Waiting is hard , I know, but your Prince or Princess Charming will come along and swoop that little nursery into their arms and Then you will know that it will be going to the right home!:))

Thanks for your kind words, I have missed you too my dear Elizabeth :)

It is a lovely roombox! I know someone will purchase it,
ReplyDeleteThe most ironic part of being a mini addict and selling items is, usually for every few items we do sell...we just buy back threefolds worth *lolzzz*
hugs!
Yes, how very true my dear!

It's a very nice room. I like the colors.

You are so right, focus on the fun part making them and not the selling part =) But I have big problems with that myself =) If I plan to sell something I get very nervous if its good enough.. But I will try focus on the fun in the making, and think of it as a bonus if I sell something sometime =) It's a bit crowded saving everything I make, but at the same time I have a hard time selling it, I want to keep almost everything ;)
ReplyDeleteYour roombox is very sweet, I like the fact that you can open the door like that. Hannah
Thanks Hannah! Chin up about selling! I think it's all about timing :)

Some of the dollhouses I made took 3 years to sell. So don't lose hope. They will sell. This roombox is so cute. Just keep making them. And don't compare your work to others. That's my problem! Then I 2nd guess myself. LOL! It's your work people will want. And when you start being overwhelmed with orders you'll miss this time when you could work on what you like. Trust me! Enjoy this time. It's your time to learn, figure out your style and bring it out in your favorite projects.

If I sent you a photo of a nursery can you re-create it? How much would that cost? I love your work...I have a Christmas scene I'd like done too. Where I can I find your work?
