Are any of you on twitter?

I just opened a twitter account, I've only posted one post and it was to get an extra entry to a contest giving away a printer!
The reason I opened it is that I'm seriously thinking about starting a facebook page for Miniature Maven Diaries (and my Etsy Shop in the next couple months). I would like to follow any of my followers who are on twitter. When you have an Etsy shop, you can connect it to your Shop Facebook Page, and everytime list a new item, you can press one button and it will be published to your facebook page. Also, if you are on twitter, every facebook update will automatically become a twitter update. You have to manually set it up this way, but only one.
I am already following Jean Day, Cinderella Moments, I think that'a all! I'm also following all the Dollhouse Mags.
Oh my twitter name is MinisbyRuth
Got to run, it's my flyer delivery day. Which is probably why I'm writing this post, procrastinating.

XOXO

Ruth

  3. Hi Ruth

I did open one with my Supernatural friends because we were stalking Jensen and Jared (we were pushing for Season 7 of supernatural because they were thinking of cancelling it....turns out it's there is going to be a season 9) but I never used it, I think I may have just let it expire so something so I dont remember what it was. good luck with yours though

    1. One of the biggest reasons I recently opened one was so I could gain extra entries to contests which I constantly enter!! It's helpful when you have an Etsy shop though. I do want to have a Facebook page for Miniature Maven Diaries/MiniaturesbyRuth (I renamed my Etsy Shop) but it won't be up and running until the fall though)
Hope you are keepin' yourself outta trouble!!!
      XOXO

    1. I have what I call a dummy facebook account at the moment because I have no facebook friends, it doesn't have a picture of me, it's so I can enter contests and access coupons! I recently found out that MIDS (that Etsy Team we both belong to) has a facebook page and it got me thinking that I would like to have a facebook page to promote my Etsy shop and blog. It probably won't be up and running until the fall.

  5. Interesting to know there are mini folks on Twitter as well, that I didn't know. I'm kinda old school in the fact that I don't use facebook, myspace or twitter. I just have my blog and thats enough for me. Also gl with the printer giveaway!!

    1. Thanks JannyBee! It's quite ridiculous, we have 3 printers, 2 are all in one printers and neither have a fax included! I really need a fax because I have to fax in my husbands's pay stubs in at the end of each month in order to get my medical benifits, I also have to fax various miscalanious crap to my disability worker throughout the month, we don't have a landline at the mo, but my cell phone contract expires at the end of October and we're ditching it, getting a land line and buying a 4th all in one printer with fax, if I can't score one for free somehow.
Most miniaturusts (I would say all actually) who have facebook pages and twiter pages sell their minis. I use twitter and facebook to follow blogs and enter contests, otherwise my blogger dashboard would be ridiculously cluttered up! Have a great day my dear!
